What I do:

From the first walk-through to the handover notes, one person does the work.

Walk-through: What you have today. Where the dead spots are, what is worth keeping, and what is past its useful life.
Plan: A written plan with options before any work starts, so you decide what gets done and in what order.
Wi-Fi: Office Wi-Fi with access points placed properly, and guest Wi-Fi kept apart from business computers.
Firewall: A firewall set up and documented, and safe remote access with multi-factor sign-in.
Two offices: Two offices in different towns joined securely over the internet, so both work from the same files and systems.
Buildings: Point-to-point wireless between buildings within sight of each other: the shop, the office and the yard on one network.
Handover: A network diagram, the passwords and notes handed over at the end, so the network is yours and anyone can follow it.

Line of sight. Wireless between buildings needs a clear line of sight, and the walk-through tells you whether yours will work.

Masts and rooftops. Rooftop and mast mounting is done with a licensed contractor.

Around your hours. Installs are scheduled at times that suit you, evenings or weekends included.

One practice looks after all of it, so nothing falls between two vendors.

Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, computers and updates, backups and multi-factor sign-in, checked every month.

A website you can update yourself, business email on your own domain, and the domain, hosting and certificates looked after.

Choosing, setting up and connecting CRM, ERP, point of sale, inventory and accounting links.

Crew phones, job files, quotes and invoices, and shop Wi-Fi, looked after as one service.
