Tower is a browser-based workspace that pairs a live SSH terminal with an AI coding assistant (Claude Code / Codex-style). Ask for a change in plain language, watch it run in a real shell, and keep an auditable record of everything that happened. It’s how I operate this server day to day — and the same auditable, access-controlled tooling I build for clients.

- Hosted on your hardware. Tower runs on a box you own (or a private rack), behind a hardened reverse proxy with TLS and IdP-backed login.
- AI powered by Claude. Tower’s assistant runs on Anthropic’s Claude models. Need a fully on-prem option with no third-party API? That’s the private-LLM route — see LLM Chat on the AI page.
- Scoped access. Per-user keys decide which hosts and actions each person can reach. Everything is logged for review.
- Grounded in your context. Optional retrieval over your runbooks, configs, and ticket history so the assistant answers from how your estate actually works.
